SMMT - Scalable Mobility Modeling Tool
نویسندگان
چکیده
In this paper, we present a novel mobility model, called the Scalable Mobility Modeling Tool (SMMT), which is based around a scaleable algorithmic mobility model that can be applied to a large number of possible horizontal environments, from wide area networks (WAN) to local areas networks (LAN), to analyze the issues related to mobility management and radio resource management. The SMMT introduces the new concept of poles of gravity (PG) to characterize the spatial and temporal behavior of mobile users in a scaleable way. This technique has been applied to a cellular communications system superimposed on different geographical frameworks consisting of the City Area Model and City Center of Bristol, UK, to investigate the performance issues related to location and paging area and teletraffic issues respectively. Keywords— Mobility model, location and paging areas, teletraffic models

Jmee: a Scalable Framework for Jtrs Waveform Modeling & Evaluation
In this paper we present the architecture of a Scalable JTRS Modeling and Evaluation Environment (Scalable JMEE), which uses hardware-in-the-loop with real-time emulation to support a scalable and application-centric evaluation of the JTRS communication networks. Scalable JMEE includes a combination of live components, real-time emulations of communication protocols, together with high fidelity...
متن کاملDesign and evaluation of two scalable protocols for location management of mobile nodes in location based routing protocols in mobile Ad Hoc Networks
Heretofore several position-based routing protocols have been developed for mobile ad hoc networks. Many of these protocols assume that a location service is available which provides location information on the nodes in the network. Our solutions decrease location update without loss of query success rate or throughput and even increase those.Simulation results show that our methods are effectiv...

متن کاملSemsim Power as an Application of Uses
With the increasing complexity of real-world energy systems its modeling process becomes even more crucial when large-scale simulations are conducted. Being computational intensive and therefore requiring efficient simulation models a modeling scheme with a well-defined formal syntax definition is developed and together with its meta model proposed in this paper. This Universal Scheme for model...
